A Guide To Happiness.
I have read many Hubs lately about people expressing there anger or hurt feelings about how life has thrown ridiculous challenges at them and they failed. Or at least in there minds they feel like failure. Some people have expressed emotions of depression and rage over things that have recently happened in their lives. Therefore, I decided I would write a Hub for all you people suffering. You don't even have to be suffering. If you feel lost in life, upset with recent events, angry at yourself or the people around you, if you are searching for the right path or even if your interested in change. This Hub is just meant to guide some from out of the darkness and towards the light.
I have provided you with a list of things you should think about and seek for a happy life.
HEALTH: Yes indeed, you see this everywhere. Don't sit there and roll your eyes about it. You know it is 100 % true that healthier people live more happy lives. YOU can be healthy. It is a choice. Therefore, lets get you started on the road to living healthy.
1. Take control of your diet. There is no need to live on junk food or drink soda pop constantly. I admit I am guilty for living on Mountain Dew!! We are only human of course and there will be those occasional times where you slip up. Let's focus OK. There are plenty of resources out such as books, diet plans and online eating tips. You need to research a new diet plan and get a schedule for yourself. You need to focus on providing your body with the right nutrition. You need to find a diet plan that fits your daily schedule and your personal lifestyle. Why not get a paper and write this down? Write down-research diet plans and pick a diet plan suitable for me.
2. Exercise daily and push your body to the limit. Let's face the facts the people who don't exercise, don't eat right and don't care enough to take care of themselves are the same people who suffer and allow their waistlines to expand. I do not mean to offend people. However we all know and you know that it takes a lot of effort and work to stick to a diet--exercise plan. Are you worth the effort? You need to really sit down and think about your life. Do you exercise? Do you eat right? Are you happy with life? Back to the point, exercising and taking care of yourself provides you with a positive outlook on life. Exercising gives you a healthy body. I am not saying you have to exercise 24/7 and do masculine workouts. Every one has different bodies. That's why you need to manage your own work-out plan. Sit down and think about what you have time to do. Research different work-out plans. You may want to do a work-out video, join a class, run everyday or do some yoga. Do not slack. Just because you make your exercise plan does not mean doing 10 push-ups a day is plenty enough. Seriously, remain focused on your goal to be healthy and form a realistic plan. Write down on your paper--research work-out plans and make a work-out schedule for each week.
You mind and body are interconnected and emotions play a big role in are happiness. When you start controlling your health and getting healthier. Then your mind will start feeling more happy and energetic each and every day. Just like, stress and negativity takes a huge toll on your body. This means YOU need maintain and balance your health. When your body and mind are body are in sync with one another, then you will start feeling more positive about life. A positive outlook on life will give you what you need to be successful in life.
If you are suffering from depression then you might want to seek counseling. Sometimes talking to someone about the way you feel can really make someone feel better. However keep in mind that your going through a dark stage in you life. You head is full of black negative clouds. The only way your going to see the sunshine is if you put some effort into your life. So therefore, get motivated, make a list of happy thoughts or things you wish you could do. Then start working towards them. You can achieve any goal as long as you work for it.
POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT: Your surrounding plays a big part in your life. Your friends, family, teachers, peers, employer, coworkers, and anyone else who plays a big role in your life are the reinforcements to your life. These people are the people who you compare yourself to, who have a influence on your decisions, and who reinforce your goals. You want these people to be positive and proactive around you. Let's face it if you are depressed or going through a rough time and your friends are constantly telling you that your not good enough or giving you negative feedback--then your more likely to go home, agree with them and sulk. Which does nothing for you but send you back in the spiral of unhappiness. Now this is the point in your life where you need to think about who is is a good influence on you and who is not. This can be extremely hard. We always read about being kind to everyone no matter what. I have to agree and disagree with that. You should always be kind to others because you would want the same treatment. Yet there are just some people who are a negative impact on your life. So that is when I say forget being kind and just end the friendship. There is no need to deal with negativity. Especially from other people. Back to the the point, you want what is best for you right? Well then you need to relieve your life of all negative energies. Yes this means saying goodbye to some friends. In the end it will help you and make you feel more happier. Write down--focus on figuring out who is important and positive in my life. I want to surround myself to people who are going to reinforce me to make a positive change in life and people who are going to influence me to be the best I can be. Even if this means getting rid of close friends because they are negative and belittle me. I want to evolve into a better person and the only way to do that is to hit the refresh button in life and carry only positives.
1. Positive People = positive outcomes. You want to feel your best then surround yourself with people who will provide you with the best influences.
HARMONY: Once you start going down the right path and on your way towards happiness you will get to a point where you will need to just release all your negative outlooks. Everything from your past that has ever held you back or anything that has ever hurt you. It is time to just let go and let your life grow in new ways. One of those growths is harmony. To me that does not mean go out and get religious. So yes you can relax and breathe now. Not to offend religious people of course. Religion is for a time in your life when you are seeking out beliefs and curiosity. That is a story for another day. Anyways you need to focus on becoming harmonious. This can be little things to big things! This is the step you take once everything starts changing. Once you start controlling you health, your weight, your thoughts, your mindset and you life. You'll want to start moving towards the light and start working on little things that put a smile on your face.
1. Get some sunshine. In the mornings, get up and throw open those curtains and let the sunshine in and brighten up your day.
2. Go for a early morning jog. Going for a jog is a good way to exercise and clear your thoughts. This will also provide you with a chance to get some fresh air.
3. Keep busy with tasks. Make sure you fulfill your day wisely and get things done. When you start doing things, being productive and living healthy you start feeling happy. Do not waste time laying around or even chatting on the phone for hours. Clean your house or go outside and work in your garden. Be productive.
4. Get out of the house! Got to dinner, go meet a friend for coffee, go watch a happy movie, or go outside for a hour. Depressed people tend to stay secluded and locked up indoors. Let's brighten up your day and get out and have fun. Putting yourself out there and changing up the scenery can put a smile on your face. It will automatically change your mood. A good cure is to just have fun. However remember it is super hard to have fun if you are in the mindset that "this will be boring" or "gosh do I have too". This is where you will have to be motivated to make a effort. If you are really wanting to have fun again and be happy again then you will release yourself and allow yourself to experience again.
Peace and freedom come with harmony. When you conquer this goal and receive harmony you will be receiving a peaceful mindset. no more stress and worries over your hurtful past. You will finally have what it takes to pick up and move on. Harmony will help you maintain a happy life and balance your emotions. You will be able to control your emotions in the future. Sit down and write some goals you have. Write some things you will need to do to conquer them. Also write down simple life pleasures that you miss and that you will start practicing again to help you become a happier person.
Passions: Everyone has passions. What are yours? You are almost out of the darkness and into the light. You are working hard to keep your life healthy and you are balancing your lifestyle now. You may be experiencing happiness too! You need to start thing about all those dreams and goals you have always had. Are those the same goals you want for yourself today? Maybe it is time to start thinking of new goals. Passions are things you want to accomplish, things you dream of doing, goals you set for yourself, or things you are passionate about. You want your passions to be balance and positive. Eating a big chocolate cheesecake is not a passion. Passions would be furthering you education, meeting new people, finding your career path, becoming independent and things of that such. Therefore, sit down and write a long list of all your passions. Keep in my to be positive and remember you in the process of changing you life. You will want to take baby steps to achieve your goals. After you have written down your passions then starting working on plans and routes to accomplish them. Start living your dreams. It is time to wake up from the nightmare and live the dream.
1. Start working on old hobbies that you use to enjoy. Reading, writing, gardening, swimming, basketball, running, painting or any other hobby is a good way to start working on developing new lifestyles and grow as a person.
2. Research new hobbies that you may find interesting. It is never to late to start something new!
Character: Lastly, start building new and improved character. WHO ARE YOU? Seriously do you know who you are? The light is here and you have created a stable and proactive person. But what happens after you start living again. Well this is where you start becoming a person, building character and living.
Write down a list of words or phrases that describe you. You can list moods, hobbies, social roles or physical features. Writing exercises like this help you express your self worth and this will help you learn who you are. Now get to writing. You want to make a list of everything that describes you. You want to really grasp the idea of who you are.
Never let people belittle you. You are a individual and you have a purpose. Sometimes in life we fall. But you have to pick up where you fell and move on. It will be hard and you will have to put the effort in. But in time you will succeed and be happy again.

Odysseus, your intention without doubt is good. You are grounded and you know how to put your ideas together in an organized way. What is missing you probably are already can sense... 'Harmony' as a goal stays within the 'mindset'and only will be real, when it is the outcome and result of your individual growing process. If not it is just part of the fake reality you are creating...
